It has, admittedly, been a long time between posts. Several conditions have affected my all-around efficiency the past week or so. See if you can relate:
1. chickenus-decapitus syndrome
2. estrogenus-overloaditis
3. plain old insomnia
Regardless, the kids have kept me smiling. Meghan was mortified to see a paper cup in the gutter as we walked home from Caleb's school. "Mama, somebody glittered!" she said in a very disapproving tone.
God gave me a big smile today, too, as I looked up from some mundane task to see my kitchen window framing this:

Beautiful.
(Were you guys sneaking around and living in CO since 2007???? I don't even know you anymore, Susan!)
i love that picture! amazing.
i gave kirstyn a penny the other day to throw into a fountain so she could make a wish. she tossed her penny in, closed her eyes, put her hands together in front of her, and said "I wish, I wish, for Meghan to move home." I told her she knew that couldn't happen so she better hurry and make a new wish... okay, she said very sadly. "I wish I wish for a Little Pony Birthday Party."
Kirstyn:
Don't tell Mrs. Satterwhite but I don't pass a fountain without wishing that very same thing.

Jaynie's comment made me laugh out loud. Meghan is so cute. Missing you-- ALOT.

hey friend! did you know i was out of town when you called to tell me your were moving? and did you know i called you as soon as i returned? we just can't seem to get our wires connected! of course, from the day we met we knew we each had "wiring issues"! (smile)
i'm so glad i found this blog. email or call when you can. i would love to catch up "in person" via some form of technology!
remind me to tell you about the ban of antibacterial 409 in my house ... and how it has freaked out your germophobic friend!!! seriously, who truly believes microfiber clothes and plain ole soap will do an adequate cleaning job????
i got to your blog from Jess' site. oh... how i miss you, my "thinking friend", to talk to at times like this when there are so many more questions than answers. Just glad for all the lessons He has taught me over the years about His Sovreignty ... it's the only answer to the unanswerable.
